In Calaveras County, arraignment has been delayed for the woman suspected of killing an elderly man from Arnold.
Patricia Ordway was in Calaveras County Superior Court on Tuesday.
Court officials say the arraignment was continued however, to the morning of January Fourth.
Ordway is accused in the beating death of 77-year-old Ray Shires in September.
Shires´s body was later found in the parking lot of a tire ship in Avery.
Ordway is known to have worked as Shires´ housekeeper prior to his death and she´s also accused of forging a 2500 dollar check belonging to Shires as well.
