Few Problems During SF Protest
San Francisco police have arrested six protesters this morning. A police spokesman says the six were taken into custody for trying to block the entrance to the corporate headquarters of Bechtel on Beale Street. Beale Street is open again after being closed earlier this morning, and police say there have been few problems because of the protests.
Police say an original crowd of about 300 protesters has dwindled to what an officer on the scene describes as a “small group.”
