San Andreas, CA — San Jose Construction will begin work soon on improvements to the county Government Center in San Andreas.
The Board of Supervisors awarded the $300,000 work bid to the company Monday.
Improvements include handicapped-accessible restrooms, a mailroom and office space for the Assessor.
Also Monday, the board agreed to go out to bid November 9th for a series of improvements to the courtrooms and board chambers.
That work will include new carpeting, fixed seating and electrical upgrades.
Both projects are being paid for through the county´s capital improvement program.
