Two Injured From San Andreas Accident

Sponsored by:

San Andreas, CA– A San Andreas accident has two people recovering from minor injuries.

Friday, 24-year-old Ken Job of Sonora was driving Southbound on O´Byrnes Ferry Road at about 50 MPH when he failed to notice the traffic in front of him has slowed. Job hit his brakes to avoid the vehicle in front of him, a 2003 Dodge pick-up truck, driven by 44-year-old Brenda Hanley of Copperopolis, but did not brake in time and skidded into the back of Hanley.

Officials say because of the impact, Hanley´s vehicle was propelled into the northbound lane, directly into the path of 41-year-old Karen Wilson´s 1992 Jeep Wrangler.

The right side of Hanley´s pick-up truck and the front of Wilson´s Wrangler collided, then traveled off the roadway where Hanley struck a landscape light fixture before coming to a stop. Wilson and Hanley suffered minor injuries and there were no arrests made.
