Calaveras Kidnapping Suspects Found In Tuolumne County

Vallecito, CA — Olenthus Rennace Long said he was kidnapped, robbed, beaten and left stranded on Camp Nine Road in Vallecito Wednesday evening.
Long has identified Ryan and Donald Thomas as the individuals that took him to the isolated area where he was attacked and had his life threatened.
Donald Thomas was taken into custody in Tuolumne County early Thursday morning. Later that day Ryan Thomas turned himself in to authorities.
Calaveras Deputies say racial slurs were used during the attack but say the attack may have been sparked by a domestic violence incident that Long was involved in earlier that day.
The case remains under investigation.
