Two 13 Year Olds Arrested On Drug And Burglary Charges

Sonora, CA — Two 13 year old male students, one from Twain Harte, the other from Long Barn, were arrested and released to their parents Thursday by the Tuolumne County Sheriff´s Department for possession of marijuana for sale, possession of prescription medications not belonging to them and burglary.
Twain Harte Elementary Principal Mike Woiciki learned that two students were attempting to sell marijuana on campus. Their backpacks were searched and two bindles of marijuana and three pills, stolen from an individual off school grounds, were recovered.
