Man Missing After Falling Into Merced River In Yosemite

Yosemite, Ca — Yosemite National Park officials say they have had no luck in finding 27 year old Kiran Yellajyosula of Mountain View who fell into the Merced River over the weekend.
Park Spokesperson Scott Gediman says Yellajyosula was hiking with three friends Saturday afternoon and took a break to sit on some rocks next to the water. He reportedly fell into the river and was swept up in the current. Gediman says they have no reason to believe any foul play was involved.
