Sonora, CA — Thursday the County Health Department, under the direction of Dr. Todd Stolp, will conduct a public exercise to test the department’s readiness in the event of a biological attack.
A biological attack within the Mother Lode is highly unlikely. Nevertheless the County Health Department wants to be prepared and to that end a drive-through public exercise will be conducted tomorrow at the Columbia Airport to see how quickly and efficiently medicine can be distributed to the general public.
The exercise will run from 11am through 3pm. Stolp is hoping for a massive number of residents to be on hand to test the department´s ability to serve the public quickly and efficiently. M&M´s will be the treat of the day.
