Valley Springs Resident Killed In Monday Crash

Bellota, CA — 23 year old Gary Gauthier of Valley Springs was killed late Monday afternoon in a crash that took place on Highway 26.
According to the Highway Patrol Gauthier was traveling westbound east of Escalon-Bellota Rd. at a high rate of speed when he apparently lost control of his Ford Mustand on a curve. He veered into the eastbound lane colliding with a Jeep driven by 52 year old Joann Ebbett of Valley Springs.
She suffered moderate injuries and was transported to San Joaquin General Hospital. Gauthier´s passenger, 24 year old Matthew Kilgore of Valley Springs, was also injured in the collision and was transported to the same hospital.
