Mother Lode Residents Continue To Support Bryce Daniel Milnick

Sonora, CA — Through the weekend 149 Mother Lode residents had donated blood to the Bryce Daniel Milnick blood restoration drive.

The two month old Merced resident (his parents formerly lived in Sonora) was born November 2 with a hypoplastic left heart syndrome birth defect. He needs a new heart.

In addition to the donors, approximately $1,500 has been donated in cash in Tuolumne County.

While the blood restoration drive officially ended January 20, Delta Blood Bank is still accepting donors. No appointment is necessary. In addition, cash donations may be made at Sierra Bible Church, Day-O Espresso on S. Washington Street in Sonora and the County Bank in Merced The address for the latter is P.O.
