Sonora, Ca — Later this year, TJ Maxx will open up at the Junction Shopping Center in Sonora.
Junction Manager Margaret Davis says the retailer will take possession of the former JC Penney building in the middle of February, and will then do a total renovation of the interior. The business will then open later in the fall.
Davis says TJ Maxx will also take over the two stores next door. One of which is currently being occupied by Pac-N-Copy. Davis notes that Pac-N-Copy will be moving to a new location in the Junction. She says this is good news for the shopping center. Finally we´re getting all of the spaces leased,” she adds.
Davis notes that the Junction and TJ Maxx had been in talks for about six months.
