Road Work Will Result In Delays On Parrotts Ferry Rd.

Columbia, Ca — Expect delays if you plan on traveling Parrotts Ferry Rd. next Tuesday through Thursday due to an overlay project.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, Parrotts Ferry Rd. will be closed at the Hwy 49 intersection from 6am to 4:30pm. North and southbound traffic will be detoured along Springfield Rd. going to and from the Columbia area. The Parrotts Ferry Rd. and Sawmill Flat Rd. intersection will also be closed down during this period of time. All traffic accessing the Columbia College area will be detoured via Springfield Rd, to the north end of Parrotts Ferry Rd., Yankee Hill Rd., to Sawmill Flat Rd.

On Thursday, the intersection of Springfield Rd. and Parrotts Ferry Rd. will be partially closed. Springfield Rd. to Horseshoe Bend Rd. will be open as an alternate route. Parrotts Ferry Rd. will have one traffic lane open.

Detour signs will be in place.
