Thief Steals Vehicle And Rams Into Pawn Shop

Sonora, CA — The Sonora Police Department is on the lookout for a suspect who reportedly stole a Jeep 4×4 from a local car dealership and drove it into the Mother Lode Pawn Shop at 626 S. Washington St.
According to Lt. Mark Stinson, the incident likely occurred sometime around the five o´clock hour this morning.
If you noticed anyone driving a black Jeep around that time, you are encouraged to contact the Police Department at (209) 532-8141.
Officers believe that items were taken from the pawn shop, and they are currently assessing what was stolen.
