Southern California Criminal Arrested In Tuolumne

Tuolumne, Ca — A man wanted in connection to a burglary in Southern California was located in Tuolumne Tuesday thanks to an anonymous tip to the Sheriff´s Office.
Several deputies descended upon the Tuolumne area Tuesday evening as 28-year-old Leon Laverne Fouts was considered to be armed and dangerous. Deputies were unable to locate Fouts, but the CHP made a vehicle stop this morning near Wayne´s Mini Mart in Tuolumne and found Fouts in the passenger seat. He was taken into custody without incident.
Fouts had burglary tools in his possession and bank account numbers belonging to other people. He was booked into Tuolumne County Jail.
