Modesto Police Discover Decomposed Body In The Mother Lode

Sierra Village, CA — 55 year old Albert Moss of Modesto led Modesto Police investigators to a shallow grave east of Sierra Village Wednesday at which time the decomposed body of 65 year old Hubert Henry McKinley, also of Modesto, was discovered.

Modesto Police Department Sgt. Brian Findlen says McKinley was reported missing earlier this week. He was last seen by a family member December 1. Information gained led detectives to Moss who then led the investigators to the shallow grave site. Moss has been charged with murder.

Investigators are not releasing any information regarding the murder itself or the motive for the crime. They have stated that the two were roommates.

Findlen added that the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office acted in a support mode Wednesday.
