Calaveras D.A. Scheduled To Lose Two Positions

San Andreas, CA — For the second year in a row the Calaveras County District Attorney’s Office is being asked to eliminate two staff positions.
Last year CAO Bob Lawton requested that District Attorney Jeff Tuttle reduce his staff by two people. Now Lawton is asking Tuttle to eliminate two additional individuals.
Tuttle says he will have to sacrifice a deputy district attorney and an investigator in order to meet Lawton’s recommendation.
