Woman Attacked By Lab-Rottweiler Mix On Jamestown Rd.

Sonora, CA — Tuolumne County Animal Control is looking for a 100 pound black Lab-Rottweiler mix with tan markings and a large head.
Wednesday at 9am this animal attacked a 40 year old woman who was walking her dog on Jamestown Rd. The animal first attacked the woman’s dog. When she attempted to break up the fight she was bitten on the hand suffering broken bones. The attacking dog then headed toward Racetrack Rd.
Animal Control needs to quarantine the dog for a rabies test. The contact number is (209) 694-2730.
