Sonora, CA – The final numbers have been tabulated from Clarke Broadcasting’s Food, Coat and Cash Drive for Interfaith.

Interfaith received $22,625 in community cash donations, 2,630 coats and 3,300 lbs. of food. Interfaith Director Cathie Peacock says the food collected will help feed those in need for the next 3-4 months. The cash donations will help Interfaith purchase food and supplies for six additional months.

The cash drive was carried out last Thursday and Friday on Star 92.7 and 93.5 KKBN during the morning drive. The community dropped of additional cash donations, food and coats Saturday morning at Standard Park as part of the Santa Fly-In.

100 percent of all donations go to Interfaith Social Services to help residents in need. Peacock notes that the agency is helping close to 900 families a month.
