Motorcycle Accident Causes Injuries
Groveland, CA– A man from Washington was injured in a motorcycle accident yesterday.
The CHP reports that at around 1:00 pm Tuesday, 43-year-old Hugh Rainey was driving his Harley Davidson motorcycle on Highway 120 near Yosemite Lakes Road.
CHP Officer Mike Remmel says that while sightseeing, Rainey failed to notice his wife who was on a motorcycle ahead of him slowing down. He reportedly lost control of his bike and overturned on the roadway. His motorcycle landed on top of him and caused minor chest injuries.
Rainey was transported to Sonora Regional Medical Center and later released. His 15-year old son who was a passenger on the motorcycle, was not injured.
