Yosemite National Park Remains Open

Sponsored by:

Yosemite Valley, CA– Yosemite National Park remains open and fully operational as a government shutdown was averted last night.

This includes all park facilities, including campgrounds, visitor centers, and all hotels and restaurants.

“It is a spectacular day in Yosemite National Park with bright blue skies, thundering waterfalls, and fresh snow on Yosemite Valley’s granite walls,” said Yosemite National Park Superintendent Don Neubacher. “We couldn’t be happier that an agreement was reached on the federal budget and we are able to continue to welcome visitors to Yosemite.”

Ice and snow remains on some of the park roads. Visitors are urged to drive safely in and around Yosemite National Park.
