Fire Destroys Home In Chinese Camp

Chinese Camp, CA — Officials are investigating the cause of a fire in the 13000 block of Red Hills Road in Chinese Camp.
It ignited shortly before 7pm Monday. The Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office reports that a family was inside the home, and thankfully everyone was able to exit safely. The fire did not spread to any nearby vegetation. How it ignited remains unclear.
