Update: Caltrans Work Plans This Week

Sponsored by:

Sonora, CA – Motorists slowed in recent weeks by two well-established Caltrans cone zones in Calaveras County may have been feeling somewhat relieved not to see them on this week’s work schedule.

Not so fast, it turns out.

Monday, Caltrans gave the heads up that tree crews are indeed back to do more work every weekday between Batten Road and Meko Drive from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., so be prepared for what have become customary ten-minute delays wherever they set up.

Too, Highway 26 slope repairs and cleanup are continuing every weekday this week between Gill Haven Drive and Rich Gulch Road from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m., again generating ten-minute delays.

For the rest of the work list – including details on the 24/7 Highway 120 James E Roberts Bridge closure near Lake Don Pedro, in effect now through early next Monday morning, click here.
