Groveland, CA — Firefighters and Columbia Air Attack are heading to a vegetation fire in Groveland. The flames broke out on Beck Road near Elder Lane. Cal fire reports the fire was sparked by a vehicle crash, but there are no further details on the accident at this time. Also, there is no information on size, rate of spread or whether any structures are threatened at this time. Update 6 pm: Cal fire reports its is just a 20 x 20 foot spot and they will have it contined shortly. Originally, Cal fire had reported the fire was sparked by a vehicile crash, but they now say that information was incorrect.
