Calaveras County, CA — There were two structure fires this morning in Calaveras County.
The Ebbetts Pass Fire Protection District reports that a mobile home was mostly destroyed in a fire that started at around 3:30am. The mobile home is in the Tanwood Mobile Home Park on Highway 4 in Avery. No one was hurt and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
CAL Fire reports that a home started on fire during the seven o’clock hour this morning in the 7000 block of Railroad Flat. It resulted from a power line falling onto the roof of a home. There were no reports of injuries, and the fire has been extinguished. The extent of the damage is not immediately known. The power remains out this morning in an extended area around Railroad Flat. It is estimated to be restored around noon today.
