Anti-Mountain Springs Petition OK’d

The petition against the Mountain Springs Development has been validated.
The Tuolumne County Elections Office projected over 80 percent of the signatures on the petition are of registered voters.
The petition now goes in front of the County Board of Supervisors on November 20th. The Board, who approved the project in September can either decline to vote on the document, essentially approving the project, or place it on the upcoming ballot for March 2002.
