Sacramento County sheriff´s deputies say they have arrested two men in Citrus Heights who may have been involved in passing hundreds of fake $100 bills in the area. The names of the men have not been released.
The pair were arrested yesterday after a clerk at a Krispy Kreme donut shop in Citrus Heights called officers to report the men were trying to spend a bad $100 bill. After the men were pulled over – officers found 14 fake bills in their car. Investigators say they found computers and paper allegedly used to create the bills at the home of one of the suspects.
