A 1970s radical who evaded authorities for decades has pleaded innocent to explosives charges. A San Francisco
judge accepted the plea of James Kilgore yesterday. Kilgore was a member of the Symbionese Liberation Army, a radical group known for kidnapping newspaper heiress Patricia Hearst in the 1970s. He also faces murder charges in Sacramento County for a 1975 bank robbery in which a woman depositing the church collection was killed.
