DUI Arrest Follows Crash

Highway Patrol investigators say alcohol was involved in a single vehicle injury crash on Highway 4 west of Big Trees Village Drive over the weekend.
The CHP reports Murphys resident Brian Hulick was driving at a high rate of speed when he ran off the road and hit a tree. The impact ejected him from his 1987 Ford Econoline van. Officers say he was not wearing a seat belt.
Hulick was airlifted with major injuries to Doctors Medical Center in Modesto where he was arrested for DUI.
