Possible Telemarketing Fraud In Groveland

Tuolumne County sheriffs are reporting possible telemarketing fraud. A Groveland resident told investigators that a Canadian firm has taken nearly $500 out of his bank account without his consent. The incident happened after the Ferretti Road resident says a telemarketing firm contacted him. He refused the product and hung up. Somehow the Canadian company got his checking account number.
