The Medic Alert Foundation is suing its chief financial officer, accusing her of using foundation money for ski trips, auto repairs and home improvements. The lawsuit comes after authorities seized documents from CEO Effie DeBow. The Turlock-based organization issues bracelets alerting emergency personnel to a patient´s medical history.
