Highway 132 Fire Contained

Fire units responded just before 11 a.m. this morning several separate fires on Highway 132 at Zarzamora Road, east of Bonds Flat Road.
One fire, on the east side of the highway in the Lake Don Pedro area, was held to about an acre in size and burned in grass. Firefighters contained this blaze in about ten minutes. A second fire, 8×8 feet in size was also extinguished.
Initial reports said four separate fires were burning, but officials think the fires may have burned together into one larger blaze. Cause is under investigation.
