Multiple Fires Burn Near Murphys

Fire dispatchers say the three or four separate fires reported just after 9:20 last night have been put out. They fires were burning in vegetation off Avery Sheep Ranch Road, Mineral Mountain, Esmeralda Road, and Fullen Road.
The largest, at about one acre was in the Fullen Road area. Calaveras County CDF fire units and the California Highway Patrol were dispatched to the area. The fires are suspicious in nature and are being investigated.
