Internet Termination Law Signed

Governor Davis has signed a bill that requires Internet service providers to give their customers at least 30 days notice before terminating their service. The new law only applies in cases where the termination isn´t triggered by the customer´s action. Under the new law, Internet service providers that don´t give notice could be fined up to $1,000 per violation. The new law takes effect January 1st.
