Burglaries In Tuolumne County

Tuolumne County deputies are investigating a burglary to a Jacobs Road home in Sonora. The victim reports some jewelry was taken. Investigators are also looking for whoever broke into a parked car near a Buchanan Road home in Tuolumne City. A stereo and amplifier were removed. Loss is estimated at about $550.00.
On Tuolumne Road in Sonora, a report of an engine part theft. The victim says somebody got under the hood of his vehicle and removed a chromed 4-barrel carburetor while it was parked in his driveway overnight. $400.00 loss, and another $200.00 damage to the engine.
