Airline Sued $10 Million For Negligence

Sponsored by:

More than four months ago, 70-year-old Margie Dabney of Bakersfield disappeared while she and her husband were changing planes at the Dallas-Fort Worth airport. Today her 63-year-old husband Joe Dabney filed a $10 million lawsuit against American Airlines for gross negligence.

There has been no sign of the Bakersfield woman suffering from Alzheimers disease since she was seen wandering on the tarmac at the Dallas-Fort Worth airport December fifth. She had vanished in an airport concourse, when an attendant pushing her husband´s wheelchair took Joe Dabney into a restroom.

Airline officials have said the attendant may not have realized he was responsible for Mrs. Dabney as well as her 63-year-old husband confined to a wheelchair.

The airline had no immediate comment on the lawsuit, but a spokeswoman said the airline continues to cooperate with law enforcement officers searching for the woman.
