Local elections officials are reminding people that the October 7th recall election is still on, despite the Monday´s federal court ruling which puts the election on hold. That ruling doesn´t take effect until 7 days after it was made
“The election is still on at the present,” Jackie St. George with the Tuolumne County Elections office said. “We will abide by any decision made by the federal courts.”
St. George said anyone who was planning to vote absentee should go ahead and do that unless the ruling becomes final.
