Governor Davis told reporters yesterday that he´s confident and focused on doing his job.
“I trust the voters of California,” Davis said. He said there will be some time spent campaigning. But, “I´m going to spend most of my time over the next 60 days working to improve their (the citizens) lives,” Davis said. “I hope to spend the next three-and-a-half years doing that.”
“All these other people are running for governor,” Davis said. “I am the governor, and I´m going to use my time to do the job as well as humanly possible.”
Davis also said he´ll wait to make any definite comment about other candidates until the ballot is finalized.
