Police Officer Guilty of Drunken Driving

A Stockton police sergeant has pleaded guilty to a drunken-driving charge.
John B. Beardsley was arrested in Lodi on May 18th after he hit a fuel tanker truck. Authorities say Beardsley had a blood-alcohol level more than twice the legal limit.
