Small Shed Burns on Shamut Road

About a quarter of an acre burned on Shamut Road near Chinese Camp yesterday. A small shed and all its contents were destroyed. That amounted to about $3,000 worth of damage.
The cause of that fire was officially listed as “equipment use.” A CDF spokesman says he didn´t know for sure what type of equipment, but it may have been someone welding or mowing a lawn.
