A Pro-Bush Rally Planned in Sonora

Organizers are hoping that a rally to “support the country and President Bush” in Sonora will draw as many people as the peace rally a few weeks ago.
20-year-old Melody Johnson and her brother, Todd Johnson came up with the idea. They say the peace rally a few weeks ago in Sonora was filled with negativity, and they want to counter that.
The march will start at 1:30 Saturday afternoon at Woods Creek Rotary Park across from the Motherlode Fairgrounds in Sonora. The demonstrators will then march downtown and hold a rally at Courthouse Park.
