Tree Trimmer Dies in Accident

A Sonora tree trimmer was killed when he fell out of a tree over the weekend.
Authorities say 39-year-old Kelly Thompson was standing on a limb that broke. He and another man were working a tree at a home on Parrots Ferry Road. He fell 50 feet to the ground and died of a broken neck.
