Modesto Man Arrested In Reno

Modesto police say a man wanted in connection with a recent murder has been arrested in Reno.
Police took 58 year-old Landon Ray Burgin into custody yesterday morning at the VA hospital in Reno without incident. He was wanted for the murder of Kenneth Sutherland. Authorities say the two men got into a fight Saturday morning. Sutherland died as a result of a punch to the jaw and then hitting his head on the pavement.
Modesto detectives are pursuing extradition procedures .
