A former California Highway Patrol employee has filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against the CHP´s chief spokesman.
Tiffany Pulsipher says spokesman Tom Marshall began making inappropriate sexual comments to her in 2003. Her attorney says she was fired by Marshall in May while on a stress leave in retaliation for an internal sexual harassment claim that she filed in March.
CHP Commissioner Spike Helmick says the lawsuit isn´t warranted, although Marshall was disciplined after an internal investigation. He wouldn´t say how Marshall was disciplined. Marshall says he hasn´t seen the lawsuit and won´t comment.
