Tuolumne County Administrator C. Brent Wallace should be smiling when he comes before the Board of Supervisors this morning at 9 a.m.
Wallace plans to tell the board most of what the county had projected back in July -as far as state revenues are concerned – still remains intact.
Plus, after final accounting at the end of last fiscal year — an pleasant surprise. Wallace reports the county´s general fund balance increased nearly $900,000 putting the general fund balance at $2.7 million.
This could keep mandatory county worker non-pay furlough days off the recommendation list, at least for now.
