Katrina Evacuees Have Another Chance For Help In Sacramento
Sacramento, CA — Hurricane Katrina evacuees have one more chance to get job and housing assistance in the Sacramento area this week.
A fair will be held this Thursday in what officials say will likely be the federal government´s final push to assist Katrina evacuees and host families in the California capital.
State and federal officials will be available to answer questions about health insurance, general assistance, car loans and jobs. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Paratransit auditorium in Sacramento.
