Fire On Highway 49 Now 40 Acres

CDF is reporting a 40-acre vegetation fire on Highway 49 north of Mukelumne Hill.
Units are on the scene and no structures are being threatened at this time. CDF says the fire is spreading at a moderate speed and motorists are advised to use caution in the area.
