Deputies Return To Blast Area

Calaveras County Sheriff´s deputies were back in the area of the Post Office at Douglas Flat early Wednesday morning.
Deputies were serving a search warrant related to a recent incident at the same location. A man with an injured hand was contacted in front of the Post Office earlier this week after allegedly detonating blasting caps. A Sheriff´s spokeswoman says the law enforcement activity on Wednesday was related to the earlier inciden. On Sunday Charles Williams was taken to the hospital after injuring his hand.
The District Attorney will decide whether Williams is charged for possession of explosives.
