Calaveras Deputies Remove 2,500 Marijuana Plants

Calaveras County, CA — Marijuana eradication efforts by the Calaveras County Sheriff´s Department have proved successful recently.
Last week the Narcotics Unit removed a commercial marijuana grow near the Golden Gate subdivision in San Andreas along Highway 49. Another marijuana grow was eradicated along the Mokelumne River near the Calaveras County line.
Approximately 2,500 plants were removed at a street value of $6.5 million.
