Sonora, CA — Customers in Tuolumne County and City of Sonora should trot out their trash and recycling carts for pick up on Thanksgiving Day, says Waste Management.

The regular Thursday morning pick up will be made this week on Nov. 27, according to the company. Closed for the holiday are the Waste Management of Cal Sierra office, the Cal Sierra Earth Resource Facility and the Cal Sierra Buy Back Center. All will reopen for business, as usual, Friday, Nov. 28.

Waste Management customers are advised to place their carts at the curb by 5:30 a.m. on Thanksgiving morning and leave them until they are emptied. Drivers will be collecting recycling and garbage until 2 p.m. For more information, contact Waste Management at 209-532-1413.
