Sponsored by:

Sacramento, CA — Next week Governor Jerry Brown will take the oath of office, deliver his inaugural address, and break ground on high speed rail.

This coming Monday, at 10am, Brown will take the oath of office in the Assembly Chamber at the California State Capitol. And immediately afterwards, he will deliver his inaugural address.  Later that afternoon, at 12:30pm, the Brown will swear-in new Supreme Court Justices Mariano-Florentino Cuellar and Leondra R. Kruger.

On Tuesday, the Governor will help host a groundbreaking ceremony in Fresno for the California High Speed Rail project. His office says he will be joined by other government, business and labor leaders.

Later in the week, on Friday, the Governor plans to release his proposed 2015-16 budget. It will be the first time the legislature has firm details about the Governor’s vision for the next session.
